Snowshoe’s Annual Women’s Mountain Bike Camp Weekend returns to the mountain August 25-27, 2023. This camp is all about promoting camaraderie, skill development, and confidence building in a supportive and inclusive environment. All skill levels are welcome as you’ll be broken up into groups based on ability so that everyone can benefit! Aspen Handy
Aspen began biking as a kid commuting to and from school. She now uses that life-long habit as an inspiration for her career as a mountain bike coach. Aspen started in the industry working at an extreme sports camp for many years; expanding from only instructing into camp programming. She is a BICP Certified Instructor with over 5 years of experience. Today, Aspen runs trips through the New River Gorge National Park through Arrowhead Bike Farm in Fayetteville, WV. She teaches everyone from beginners to experts and specializes in technical skills coaching. Aspen hones in on the importance of seeking adrenaline and going out of one’s comfort zone with all of her guests. Plus, “Getting a little muddy is good for the soul!” Says Aspen.
