Snowshoe’s first Ride with Pride weekend was an instant success filled with parties, friendly competition, drag shows, and even more activities to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
The weekend started off Friday with Après Mixology and Galactic Tubing sessions at Silver Creek. Then we headed to the Queens on Top of the World stoplight part where guests enjoyed DJ EJ and Snowshoe’s first drag show, with performances from West Virginia Queens Olivia Knowles, Priscilla Divine, and Viki Williams.
Saturday was packed with events for everyone, from the top of the mountain to Shavers Lake.
Guests enjoyed Burton snowboard demos, Core Food samples, and Pride swag in the Village.
The True Colors party at the Boathouse was rockin’ with Ikon Pass, Sycamore Brewing, Coyote Hole Ciderworks, and DJ Cyn City in the Red Bull DJ Truck.
The Pride lap on Lower Ballhooter was full of unique costumes and rainbow flags.
The North Face hooked up Pride prizing for our Dual Slalom Drag Race, a hit with both participants and spectators.
Saturday finished off with another Queens on Top of the World party at Hoot’s. The legendary Denali Foxx was in attendance for groundbreaking performances from Olivia Knowles, Priscilla Divine, Viki Williams, and Marcia Marcia Marcia.
The weekend wrapped up with the Burton Drag Brunch at Al Dente Ristorante on Sunday. Guests enjoyed a delicious brunch buffet, music by DJ EJ, bingo hosted by Priscilla Divine and Viki Williams, prizes from Burton, and performances by Olivia Knowles, Priscilla Divine, and Viki Williams.
