Forever Wild: Snowshoe’s Next Generation Heads to Nationals

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Snowshoe’s Forever Wild Ski Team is heading into nationals with momentum and a strong crew of young talent.

From Massanutten to Park City, the team competed across the region and beyond this season. Now they’re heading into nationals with a roster full of nationally ranked athletes.

Built by Coaches Who Get It

Behind the scenes, Forever Wild is powered by a dedicated coaching staff led by Head Coach Clay Edwards, alongside coaches Seth Ruckle, Bradin Baum, and Stephanie Fritz. Together, they have created an environment that balances progression, competition, and a genuine love for the sport.

A Team That Shows Up

Across multiple age groups and disciplines, Snowshoe athletes are showing up in a big way. From podium finishes in skier cross and slopestyle to strong performances in rail jam and halfpipe, the team continues to prove its depth.

Standout results include Georgianna Fritz taking the top spot in Slalom and earning multiple podium finishes, Ilan Gavrilets securing first place in both Skier Cross and Slopestyle, and Evelyn Simmons claiming gold in Rail Jam while landing on the podium in Skier Cross.

Athletes like Ari Gavrilets, Adelei Kennedy, and many others continue to push into top rankings, while the entire roster gains valuable experience competing against some of the best young athletes in the country.

Looking Ahead to Nationals

While the team heads into nationals with strong momentum, they will be missing one key athlete. Snowboarder Chloe Anderson, who earned gold in Giant Slalom, silver in Slalom, and a fifth-place finish in Boardercross at last year’s nationals, will sit this one out due to a knee injury sustained earlier this season.

Still, the team carries forward that same competitive edge and a culture rooted in progression, resilience, and showing up for one another.

With a full roster of nationally ranked athletes and a season of strong results behind them, Forever Wild is not just building competitors. They are building the future of the sport.
