The countdown to Winter has officially begun at Snowshoe Mountain! We plan to open for skiing and snowboarding 100 days from today on Wednesday, November 26, weather permitting. Headlining our off-season upgrades is a new skier services facility – an updated, modern version of the original Shavers Center that served the mountain for nearly 50 years. The new and improved Shavers Center is expected to open mid-December.

The original lodge was such an integral part of Snowshoe and so many of our guests and employees have stories and fond memories from that place. We just celebrated our 50th anniversary this past winter, and now we’re looking forward to completing the new facility and making more beautiful memories in the new Shavers Center for the next 50 years and beyond.”

Kids Ski Free Week – Dec. 6-12
As part of our ongoing efforts to introduce more people to winter sports, Snowshoe has announced a week of free skiing and snowboarding for kids aged 12 and under from December 6-12. These tickets are available now.
Ski for $67/day with Flex 3 Pass
For just $199*, the Flex 3 Pass is good for any 3 non-holiday days of the 2025/26 winter season. The 3 days can be used non-consecutively, giving purchasers the ability to buy now without having to commit to specific dates. This pass is perfect for those pop up powder days and taking some ‘sick’ time from work.
*Price jumps to $249 on October 10th. Only available for purchase before opening day.
Flurry of Savings – Oct. 1-9
If you’re planning a trip to Snowshoe this winter, your best opportunity for savings is during the resort’s Flurry of Savings Event, October 1 – 9. The sale will feature discounts of up to 20% off lodging, rentals, and lessons.
Labor Day Weekend Celebrations
We’re stoked for winter but we’re not done with summer just yet. The annual Labor Day Celebration will feature live music, mountain bike racing, and another legendary Snowshoe fireworks display. Check out our Salute to Summer deal and save 30% on your Labor Day lodging.
Conferences & Events
The new Shavers Center will also be available for booking conferences and events. The space will be available to groups and private rentals in the evenings on a limited basis during the winter months with more robust availability during the summer and fall seasons, starting in May of 2026.
